Laurent Jacquet

My passion is to study successful people across different disciplines and roles – executives, entrepreneurs, athletes, lawyers…to discover their strategies and habits that make them the very best at what they do. I look for patterns and strategies, (try to) apply them to my own life and then share what I learn here with you.

I am fascinated with everything that improves performance and wellbeing like health, fitness, education, goal-setting, motivation, influence, time management and communication.

I love learning from new people, making connections and I am a big fan of all kinds of sports.

My humble intent is to inspire you to ‘lead your own way’, and achieve great things!

“It is not what we get. But who we become, what we contribute… that gives meaning to our lives.”
— Anthony Robbins

Philosophy

I believe that progress (and happiness) is built around three main elements:

1. Purpose:

A strong purpose is the compass to all decisions. Once you have the ‘why’, you will find a way to the ‘how’. It is the reason why you do everything you do.

Without purpose and passion you have no focus, you feel less connected to the goals you set for yourself and you quit sooner once confronted with obstacles.

If your purpose goes beyond yourself, you aim to contribute and be of service to others, your motivation will be even more powerful and you will feel more fulfilled.

2. Growth:

Push your limits and go out of your comfort zone. Make mistakes and try again. A strong purpose and a growth oriented mindset will lead to continuous progress, which combined with contribution is the key to happiness!

3. Balance:

Regularly balance out your different needs, take good care of yourself so that you can take care of others. Be in the game for the long run.

Ultimately it's about striving to become the best possible version of yourself, day by day!
